Coloquilly known as the UFO, the Seiko Yachtman was released to American markets in the 1969/70 Seiko catelog. Originally intended for use in a marine setting and powered by Seiko's workhorse 6138 movement, this watch earned its nickname from its dish-like case measuring in at 44mm. This example, manufactured in 1972, boasts a beautiful black dial with two sub-dials as well as its original black and orange tachymeter ring.
